Ask user input from Siri in custom Intent for iOS 13.
At last year’s Worldwide Developer Conference, Apple announced the new app Siri Shortcuts, which allows iOS users to create custom voice commands for their apps.The Shortcuts app has been redesigned, making it easier to understand and get started with, there’s powerful new automation capabilities that let you run your Siri shortcuts based on a series of triggers, and the gallery has now new automatic recommendations based on your personal usage.
This year in Worldwide Developer Conference 2019, Apple has given more privilege to ask user for Siri input in custom intent. Before this the domains & Intent which has been provided by Apple, we can only ask user input in those intent. Now from WWDC 2019, we can ask user input for custom intent also.
Let’s get started
In this post, we will build an app which will take voice enabled input from Siri. We will take three user input from Siri and save it in our app.
Enable the Siri Capability
First select your project in the navigator and click on Singing & Capabilities option. Add siri from +capability button.
